Monkey Bar Gym’s 2017 New Year/New You 60-Day Challenge

The picture to the right is Ken Whiley who was from one of my first boot camp’s a few Summers back, and he lost 40 pounds in only 60 days. The common thread of both of these members is that they followed our nutrition/diet plan and exercised diligently for the duration of their programs. The eight-week program includes:
• Body fat analyses at weeks one and every month and at the conclusion of the 60 days.
• Group training 5-6 days/wk. at appropriate fitness level Following a Bootcamp schedule of High Intensity Interval training (HIIT) to challenge cardiovascular endurance, agility and balance.
• Individualized nutrition consultation and tailored-made diet plan overseen by Dr. Erika Mckeen(Naturopathic Medical Doctor) and Greg Jones CNT Elite Trainer
• Before-and-after photos
Staff: We want you to meet our dedicated, educated, certified, and experienced staff, each of whom is here to help you reach your fitness/health goals. Moreover, you will be spending lots of one-on-one time with them and can request additional consults at any time during the program.
Dr. Erika Mckeen received a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Wellness from Mc Masters University. She later completed a second bachelor’s degree in Biology and her Doctoral degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
While running her own clinic for over 10 years now, Dr. Mckeen focuses on family medicine as well as advanced biomechanics and sports nutrition.

Dr. Erika practice includes Structural Testing & Evaluation Procedure (S.T.E.P.) for athletes, health consultations, sports supplements evaluation and lifestyle strategies, which keep the body performing at a peak level. Her practice is in Phoenix AZ

Greg Jones: B.Sc. degree from Eastern Oregon University, majors in Nutritional Health and Physical Education; Certified Personal Trainer (1995); Monkey Bar Gymnasium Certified Natural Trainer(CNT)2013; named to national all-star team in Football; specialist in group training with an emphasis on functional training modalities, Corrective exercise, restorative Yoga(Eischens), and goal setting.

Pre- program intake: Every prospective 60-Day Challenge participant will meet with our staff prior to the January 17th start date. All measurements and evaluation results will be kept confidential and used to assess results. Individual diet plans will be detailed before the first class, so schedule a pre-class consult soon! In addition body-fat measurements will be done at this time and repeated at weeks 4, and 8 ).
The 8-week New Year/New You slimdown program: All participants will meet up to 5 weekdays per week for 8 weeks, beginning at 6:00pm, Wednesday January 18th
Your part: We will do our part to educate you and give you our 100% support. You must, of course, do your part by making all necessary lifestyle changes. We make a total commitment to you, and you must make a total commitment to yourself! If you do, it will work. You will see results as soon as Day 1. You will feel better just by being there.
The cost: Only $199 for two months for this potentially life-changing fitness course, the equivalent of 3 dollars a session for a gut-busting workout guaranteed to deliver results! We have a flexible payment plan if needed for the program.

To Summarize: The 60-day New Year/New You slimdown revolves around two central components: (1) smart food choices; and (2) daily, individualized physical exercise. Our goals for you will take into consideration your weight, age, health, and health-related constraints. By eating right and exercising hard, you should experience an increase in your metabolism’s rate enabling you to burn more fat calories.
Here is your commitment: 60 days! You must agree to attend up to M-F, with a break on Wednesday from 6:30- 7:30pm & a weekend workout at Monkey Bar Gym Bellevue. Your trainer/coach will push you hard, remind you of the need to eat right every day, and help you to incorporate these healthy habits into your new, restructured lifestyle. You may come more often but not less! You may come more than 60 days but not fewer!
